Craps is another game that is truly synonymous with the casino and casino online games can be just as exciting.

The opening roll in craps is called the “Come out roll”. The basic opening bet of craps is called the “pass line bet”. Pass line bets are instant winners if the shooter rolls either a seven or an 11 and lose if the first roll is two, or snake eyes, three, cross eyes or 12, box cars.

If however the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 then this is then known as the point.  The puck, which a small plastic marker, shows the point has been made and is placed on the table over the number that was rolled.

After this the shooter must either roll point or seven, when they seven out or lose the game, after the come out roll before the game ends. This means that realistically a game of craps can go on for several hours at a time. Pass line bets cannot win until point is rolled or lose until a seven is rolled.

You can also bet in a number of different ways while the game is going on. Before the dice is rolled bets can be placed in various different areas of the table.

However, there are a number of different bets available which all take some getting used to. Therefore, the best way to properly learn how to play craps is give it a go. And, what’s more, you don’t even have to bet any of your own money as most casinos offer free games which you can’t win any money on but gives you a chance to try it out and get a feel for the rules.
